something happened

a while ago
something happened to me
that changed my life
I could have been killed
many times over
this last time
I asked, "God, what am I?
What do you want me to do?
What is my purpose?"
months later
I'm on a different path
towards progress and
helping fellows
other than myself
a journey that I've been reaching for
since the day I was born.
