this is bad / Deadwood

I just read on CNN that Deadwood may not have a 4th season, or at least they are not picking up the contracts of the current actors on the show. Meaning, they are allowing the actors to pursue other ventures. Apparently, David Milch is focusing on some show called "John From Cincinnati." This totally sucks because Deadwood is one of the best shows to come around in a very long time. Ian McShane is my crush, as bad as he is. The language is so rich and well written, sometimes I have to watch an episode 2 or 3 times to catch every nuance. I hope this isn't true.
